This shrine complex is built on the banks of Baigar river in Tungipara. The red ceramic brick and black and white tiles of the Greek architectural style of the building show signs of pain. Bangabandhu's grave is just after crossing the gardens in front of the complex. The grave of his parents is next to it. The main tomb is built around these three graves. Jafri cut on the wall above the madhisaudh with a round dome built of white stone. The sun shines through this jafri cut. The light also diffuses into the grave through the glass work above. Bangabandhu's grave is surrounded by black tiles and white tiles in the middle. The upper part is blank. The cabaret is surrounded by short railings.
The complex houses a library and museum. The library has about 6000 books including books written by Bangabandhu and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. There are Research Centre, Exhibition Centre, Open Stage, Public Plaza, Administrative Building, Cafeteria, Bakultala Square and Souvenir Corner.
In addition to photographs of various stages of Bangabandhu's struggling life, the exhibition center has artworks painted by various artists about Bangabandhu.
