Nuhash Palli - Gazipur

Nuhash Polli is a garden house built by the late poet Humayun Ahmed on a 40 bigha area in Piruzali village of Gazipur, near Dhaka. It is the shooting spot of Nuhash movie and family entertainment center. After entering the village of Nuhash and moving forward a little along the field, there is a prayer house in the shade of Shefali trees on the left hand side. Next to it is a small garden with three old litchi trees. On the north side of the litchi garden is the jam garden and on the south is the mango garden. Humayun Ahmed slept forever in the shadow of Lichubagh.

The late fiction writer Humayun Ahmed Nuhash Palli was built in a remote area 20 kilometers away from the Gazipur intersection, near the capital. Along with various structures and numerous fruits, forest trees, he made a garden of medicinal plants. All in all, Humayun Ahmed has made Nuhash Palli, named after his son, a dream world. So he has repeatedly run into that beautiful garden of two and a half species of green trees.

Humayun Ahmed built a suiting spot, Dighi and three beautiful bungalows in Nuhash Palli. He lived in one and the other two were another form of his artistic thought. Shanbandhano named the bungalow facing Dighi at Shanbandhano Ghat as 'Bhoot Vilas'. Fairytale mermaids and demons are behind the garden, which is made with rare medicinal plants. There is also Padmapukur, a large swimming pool designed in organic form.

Legendary fiction writer Humayun Ahmed established Nuhash Palli as a personal initiative. Although his residence is in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, he used to come to Nuhash Palli whenever he got a chance to spend time. Sometimes he came with his family, sometimes he came with his friends to hang out all night. Every year on the 1st of Baisakh a Baisakhi fair was organized in Nuhash Palli.

What is there in Nuhashpalli:

There are 250 species of rare medicinal, spice, fruit and forest plants. Identification plates are set on each tree, by which the tree can be easily identified. Small houses are built on a big tree in the middle of a green field. On the eastern side of the garden is a palm garden. On one side of the garden is a state-of-the-art house called “Rain Luxury”. Another attraction of Nuhash Palli is “Lilavati Dighi”. Different types of trees around the lake. There is Sankadhano Ghat. An island in the middle of the pond. There are many coconut trees.
