Cox's Bazar beach is the longest unbroken beach in the world (Samodra Soikot). The feature of this beach with a length of 120 km is that the entire beach is sandy, there is no mud. Cox's Bazar city is lively during the tourist season as tourists roam around Baliari beach with various species of snails, oysters, corals, modern hotels, motels, cottages, Burmese markets decorated with new decorations. 

The activities of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation and local Sea-Beach Management Committee to beautify Cox's Bazar beach are visible. The newly built modern oyster market 'Beach Park Market', modeled after an eight-color umbrella in the old oyster market Veng, is a must-see. Although there is a space for building eight shops in each market, the shopkeepers have built eight shops into sixteen, twenty shop houses through their own agreement. 

Three more similar umbrella markets are under construction next to it. In addition to the snail-mussel and coral shops, there are various shops including Burmese goods, cosmetics, fast food, cooling corner, dryers, studios, mobile shops in these markets. At the entrance to the beach, with the financial support of Cox's Bazar Zilla Parishad, a spectacular beach garden-cum-park and oyster market with 26 shops have been constructed. A two-storied observation tower and a permanent open stage of the district administration have been constructed in front of the garden at Labani Point with the funding of the Zilla Parishad and under the supervision of the Beach Management Committee. 

Cox's Bazar beach is a magical and beautiful beach. Every day every moment changes its form. Winter-Monsoon-Spring-Summer There is no such season as the beach looks alike. One way in the morning and another in the afternoon. There is a big difference between beach wind-conditions at dusk and night-time weather-conditions.

To promote surfing as a popular sport in Bangladesh, the local administration has granted temporary permission for setting up of temporary surfing cottages for surfing clubs at Labani Point of Sea Beach. The recent addition of beach police for the safety of tourists on the beaches is undoubtedly a commendable initiative by the government. 

There are permanent and temporary billboards and banners under the initiative of the district administration and the district council to display tides and tides. Besides, the local administration has granted conditional temporary permission to some private organizations to install LCD TV monitors at Kalatali, Sugandha and Labni points on the beach for cyclone and tide awareness and educational advertisement. 

Cox's Bazar Rupali Beach offers beach bikes, jet skis, horse carts or horse-drawn carriages for tourists. Due to the installation of many changing rooms, bathrooms, toilets on the beach, tourists are not facing any difficulty in responding to the call of nature. 

When will you go

The peak season of Cox's Bazar is from October to March. At this time more tourists come as the rain is less. In addition, the beaches are more enjoyable when it's cold, but also more crowded. There are many tourists after the two Eids and the three-day closure, even though it is off-peak season. It is not right to go without booking at this time. In offseason hotels offer discounts of 30% to 60%. Apart from this, the waves are very big during monsoon. Ships to Saint Martin usually run from October to April. Currently the hotels in Cox's Bazar have a capacity of about 150,000 people. So even if you don't book, there is a possibility of getting a hotel. Note that hotel rates are likely to be more than half off in the off-season. If there is a chance, it is best to go down to Cox's Bazar and bargain with the hotel to find a hotel. One should not look for a hotel on the advice of a rickshaw-puller or a CNG-wala. Now almost all hotels have Facebook page or website, from there you can contact them first. But it is better to book from December 15 to January 15. Besides, if you go on working days, you will get more discounts than on weekends.
