One of the resorts outside Dhaka is Mermaid Eco Resort. Mermaid Eco Resort is an abode of dreamy beauty. This resort has been built in the lap of nature on Pachhar Island in Cox's Bazar. 

On one side there is a lush beach, on the other side high mountains. Cox's Bazar Marine Drive road of about 84 km goes through the middle to far Teknaf. On the western side of the road (adjacent to the Reju canal) is the secluded island of Pechardia village. And this is a paradise for travelers called owl island. There you will be completely noise free. Where even the crow will not come to tease you. 

Mermaid Eco Resort is a CNG driven auto rickshaw ride from Kalatali in Cox's Bazar city, right next to Rejubridge. The main feature of this resort is that everything is made naturally. Looking from the road, many small and big cottages can be seen behind the trees. The living quarters here are made of thatched bamboo and thatched roofs so that it does not exceed the height of the vegetation. The resort's bungalows have large windows and doors so that guests can enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty.As you go down the slope of the big road, you can hear the roar. Bhardupur sun shimmers in the reservoir on both sides. Walking into the reception room, someone handed over a bunch of colorful wildflowers. After that comes the welcome drink, which means welcome drinks can be freshly picked from the tree. The work of allotment of bungalows is finished while the water is finished. The name of the bungalow where accommodation is provided is hard to remember once you hear it, Road Lover Squid. The same is true for the remaining 30 villas and bungalows. 

But the room is really relaxing. Although it looks like a cottage from the outside, it has all the modern facilities inside. When you enter the bathroom, you instantly feel better. Instead of commercial shampoos in plastic bottles, use herbal shampoos in glass containers. It is again covered with green leaves. Two wood rose flowers are placed on both sides. Soap, shampoo is kept in a long coconut shell.At Mermaid Eco Resort, everything harmful to the environment is used as little as possible. All the bungalows have been built keeping in mind the natural environment of Pechhar Island. Yoga centers, spas, boat trips, conference rooms, theaters are all available at this eco-friendly resort. There is no civil clamor or clamor. When the afternoon sun dies down, sitting on the bamboo bench in front of the cottage, the mind becomes cheerful. This time is also good for going out on a boat trip. A walk past rows of bungalows and coconut trees leads to the banks of the Reju canal. There, the water of Reju Canal, the branch of the sea, has just started to take on a blue color. From Kalatali in Cox's Bazar, you can take a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw to Pechhar Dwip. The rent will be about 200 taka. Besides, you can go directly from Cox's Bazar Airport with CNG. It will take only 20 minutes. 

Where will you stay?

Mermaid Eco Resort has a variety of bungalows. But the bungalow booking should be arranged before going. There are 30 cottages in this resort. The cottages here have different categories of rooms. The room rent of the first category cottage is from 2,500 to 6,000 taka and in the second category from 8,000 to 16,000 taka. The resort has all the facilities of a three star hotel.
